Meet Katharine!

Originally from Los Angeles, she's also called New York home before settling in Nashville in the spring of 2025. Katharine has been behind the chair since 2010, training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy before completing a two-year apprenticeship at Bumble and Bumble, where she mastered straight razor cutting. For the past 16 years she's worked fashion weeks in New York and Paris, everything from on-set work for Vogue to styling weddings in the South of France. She also owns a salon in Los Angeles, which she runs remotely while making regular visits to maintain her loyal clientele there.

Katharine is a cutting specialist through and through, she's never done color, and loves the immediate, visible results a great cut delivers. Her favorite part of the job is helping clients learn to work with their natural texture, teaching product knowledge and quick styling techniques that let hair mostly air-dry and go. Opening her own salon in 2020 taught her more than she ever expected about the business side of hairdressing and the art of collaboration, and her apprenticeship at Bumble and Bumble from 2011 to 2013 remains the foundation of everything she knows. She's since gone on to apprentice many talented stylists of her own, something she takes real pride in.

Katharine wants clients to feel heard and completely at ease in her chair, treated to a true self-care experience, on top of walking away with the best haircut of their life. She describes herself as an extroverted introvert: calm, easy to connect with, equally happy chatting away or sitting in quiet. Katharine is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and a woman in recovery, and she carries all of that into how she shows up for her community with respect and care.

What does "come as you are" mean to you?: "Show up as you in this exact moment. I want people to feel so comfortable that they can cry or celebrate in my chair. I'm here for it all, always!"
