Fruition Salon was founded in 2003 by Heather McCollum, who saw the potential in a historic building that once served as a neighborhood grocer. Heather built a culture rooted in high-quality hairdressing paired with genuine care for the community — a space where craft and connection could grow together.

That spirit lives on today under owner Kitty, who carries the salon forward with a deep belief in individuality as the ultimate expression of freedom. Fruition is guided by three core values: authenticity, education, and connection. But at the heart of it all are the people — every team member, every client who walks through the door brings Fruition to life.

In 2026, Fruition expanded to a second location in East Nashville, housed in a beautifully converted historic church building — a space that, like our original home, carries its own history and character into its next chapter.
