Meet Buffy! She grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia before she and her husband moved to Nashville ten years ago. Buffy always thought being a hair stylist looked cool and fun, but growing up in a small town, cosmetology school options were limited. Shortly after her move to Nashville, she finally took the leap and enrolled at the Aveda Institute. She's been behind the chair for eight years now.
Buffy considers herself a versatile stylist who loves doing all types of hair. A career highlight came a couple of years ago when she and a coworker placed in the top 25 in the Collaboration category at the One Shot Hair Awards, a moment she's still proud of. She also counts watching Jayne Matthews razor cut hair in person as one of the most inspiring educational experiences of her career.
Buffy wants clients to feel at home in her chair. She knows it sounds cheesy, but she genuinely wants every guest to relax and enjoy their time with her. Down to earth and easygoing, she brings a calm, no-pressure energy to every service.
Outside the salon, Buffy loves spending time with her husband, whether that's at a concert, biking around town, or cooking a meal together. She has a deep love for nature and can often be found outside tending to her garden.
What does "come as you are" mean to you?: "Just being your authentic self! And it also makes me think of Nirvana :)"
